Susan Enerson

My name is Susan Enerson and I am so privileged to be a part of the Jefferson Community.  My role is to support students, teachers, and families in creating and being part of engaging, challenging, and fun learning environments at Jefferson. You will most often find me in the halls or classrooms working with individual students or groups.

I knew I wanted to be a teacher since I was 7 years old!  As an educator for 27 years in Minneapolis, I have worked as a Classroom Teacher, a Reading Teacher and Coordinator, a teacher Mentor and Observer, and an Administrative TOSA.  My favorite thing to do is listen to a student read and have them tell me what they are doing that is making them a better reader.

When I am not working, I love to travel, learn new things, and spend time with my family . I want to visit all of the National Parks in the United States and each summer I travel to a different part of the country to climb mountains, hike paths, and see historical places.

The best way to reach me at Jefferson is to call the main office or email me.  I look forward to working with you and your children!
