Resources in the Community:

Call 2-1-1 for resources near you: food, shelter, employment resources, healthcare, childcare, and other vital community services. Staff answer calls 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Calls to 2-1-1 are free and confidential and the service is available in over 100 languages.

Weekend Food.  If you would like your student to receive a bag of non-perishable food every Friday in their backpack, contact Elizabeth Hale or complete a form in the main office.

Dental Services. Ready Set Smile is school-based dental program committed to help families care for their children's oral health. We provide dental services on-site at Jefferson Community School. To register your child, pick-up a consent form from the front office and return it to your child's teacher.

Counseling Services: Guadalupe Alternative Programs (GAP)

Jefferson Community School partners with GAP counseling to offer quality therapy and life skills training for our students and families. GAP counselors are qualified mental health practitioners who provide school-based services through the Community School Collaborative (CSC). For more information or to be considered for a referral, please contact the School Social Work Team.
